Perfect. We felt at home...
It's rare to have a "perfect stay" anywhere, yet that is what we had. Perfect. We felt at home, and appreciated the many little, yet kind and helpful, touches and tips. Truly enjoyed our walks around this precious town, a great 6 mile walk along the C & D Canal in Chesapeake City, and a good meal at the Bayard House Restaurant there. Breakfast at Miller Dunham House started with a delicious mango and blueberry cup and an incredible leek and feta cheese frittata, with a pesto aioli sauce. Yummy! We left refreshed, full (!) . The Best B&B I've Ever Stayed At!
The Miller-Dunham House had been highly recommended by my son who stayed there and raved about it. The house is tucked away on a country road, easy parking in the back. Walking in the front door is like walking into your grandmother’s house with delicious smells coming from the kitchen...
...The room we stayed in was bright, spacious, immaculate, attractively decorated with a comfy king bed, nice linens, easy to open windows, and modern AC which we didn’t need. Our en suite bathroom was clean, renovated and stocked with fluffy towels and very nice soaps and body cream. Oh, and did I mention the heated floor in the bathroom?
Breakfast is included in the price of the room, and trust me, this breakfast is incredible...you probably will be photographing your meal and you may not need lunch. Enjoy!

"Home away from home" is the best way to describe the hospitality and warmth that we received. Attention to detail, hospitality and genuine care
Thank you so much for welcoming us, and even late into the evening allowing us to enjoy the warmth of the fire...the drinks in the mini-fridge, and the chocolates and treats on the counter. The beds were soft and firm...we slept so well. This morning, we loved hearing the soft music playing as we came downstairs for coffee and breakfast. After relaxing, admiring the bluejays and cardinals and the bright red holly berries decorating the yard. Breakfast was superb! The banana split parfait was delicious! Outdid our expectations
Spacious, comfortable, attractive accommodations with choice of living areas including garden room. Silent and effective A/C...great showers, pleasant smelling soap! Luxury dining with full service, pretty dishes-hosts lovely and accommodating in every way. So grateful for the bottles of chilled water in the living room fridge. Your beautiful B&B outdid our expectations. We loved our room, and the house and the grounds. You were helpful in every way. What a delicious and beautiful breakfast you served us.
