A Hidden Gem in Odessa, DE
The Miller-Dunham House Bed & Breakfast is a colonial style home located at 207 High Street, right in the heart of charming Historic Odessa, Delaware. Wilmington, Newark and Dover Delaware are all an easy 20 minute drive away, and within 60-90 minutes you can drive to Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, DC or any of the famed Delaware Beaches.

Our History
In 1950, the Millers (pictured below left) moved to in Odessa, DE. to the big brick house on High Street. 26 years later, the Dunhams (pictured below right) moved to Odessa and built 207 High Street for their retirement home. In order to accommodate a private mother-in-law apartment the house was built with two front doors.
Fast-forward to 2017, the second generation of Odessa Millers purchased the Dunham house and transformed 207 High Street into a four bedroom en suite Bed & Breakfast. The first floor mother-in-law apartment has become the Innkeeper residence.
The Bed & Breakfast sits on 3 acres of wooded and open fertile Delaware land. Especially interesting are the unusual trees, shrubs and gardens originally planted by the Dunhams.
The Millers and Dunhams have many shared life experiences including their joy of gardening, they also enriched their community by donating their time and talents in many capacities.

My wife, Chris and I really enjoy the quaint, friendly atmosphere of Historic Odessa and it's beautiful surroundings. We encourage everyone that comes to the area to experience it's diverse surroundings, friendly people and the history that makes Delaware famous as the first state of this great nation.
