In 1950 the Millers (pictured below left) moved to in Odessa, DE. to the big brick house on High Street. 26 years later the Dunhams (pictured below right) moved to Odessa and built 207 High Street for their retirement home. In order to accommodate a private mother-in-law apartment the house was built with two front doors.

 

Fast-forward to 2017 the second generation of Odessa Millers purchased the Dunham house and transformed 207 High Street into a four bedroom en suite Bed & Breakfast. The first floor mother-in-law apartment has become the Innkeeper residence. 

 

The Bed & Breakfast sits on 3 acres of wooded and open fertile Delaware land. Especially interesting are the unusual trees, shrubs and gardens originally planted by the Dunhams.
